Cant believe a movie is being made of this now
NEEDS to be a video game ASAP
Beautiful
i want this to be a game
Beautifully done!
I would LOVE to see GIGANTIC shopping malls like at 0:18 I know it would be amazing if this was real life!!
Has an extestenchal feeling that i love sorry for my horendus spelling :3
A quiet apocalypse
Reminds me of the games limbo and inside
The market scene brought me back to small towns in my state. I can feel the despair and it is no stranger.
Dang, top notch editing
I ❤ his work. I hope the movie is good but honestly if they do the visuals right, I’ll watch it on the biggest screen I can find and pay for the pleasure! 😊
This is terrifying but at the same time, beautiful
I LOVE ELECTRIC STATE ITS MY LIFE
Awesome...
Social Networks are equivalent to neurocasters.
woah! i recently saw his art but seeing it now animated like this is just... wow! how did you even achieve this?
It really hits you home in my opinion
I don't know why i find these dystopian scenarios so appealing and sometimes comfortable, even cozy. It is a harsh universe to live in, all we know as work, corner stores, the bus we take everyday, work, society it's not the same, and even so, a part of me wants to explore and live in these scenarios, there might be a trauma factor for me if i find comfort in these harsh scenarios, there is a certain "ironic" beauty, in this case the cyberpunk neon lights are so amusing yet they wouldn't let you see the night sky at all, and even if you were miles away the light contamination would still be seen far away in the horizon. I do guess there is a trauma factor at least for me, i'd love to lay my head on that car window and just... Look and exist.
Fitting music.
The Russo Brothers have no chance at doing a good job with something so eerie and subtle- they made a ton of money for the Marvel machine so now they get their pick of classics to ruin
The allure is the analog tech + contemporary science's quirkiness -- Can't quite put my finger on the fascination with Simon's art.
give me a point and click experience in Stalenhag's universe plzzz
a horrible dystopian world by a wonderfully inventive artist.
Oh shit man, this is AWESOME!
Netflix is producing a film of the same name, based on this. Fingers crossed, hope they do Simon's work justice!
i'd love to see a fallout kind of game set in this universe
The Electric State
Very well done! i've yet to read the book, will do so soon. would love it as a video game!
New to the channel and loving this!.. good stuff Mr.
The atmosphere and music gives off a Little Nightmares aesthetic. It also looks like a futurist concept of Little Nightmares either. Crazy great work there.
cool
Thank you for posting this. It would be interesting to see if the USSR had their own equivalents to Blade Runners.
Yo you using unreal 5?
Waiting for the right game studio to make a multiplayer questing horror game in this universe
Worthless time spent viewing a sample reel… next time give it a plot
It's has plot haven't you read the book yet if not GET GOING
@@blamgit we call this ignorance
Wow.
Things sure move S-L-O-W-L-Y in these CGI shorts.
The contrasting elements are incredible.
Neato! Subtle mysterious beauty
Someone needs to make a first-person game set in this world.
Well done. Thank you.
0:40 love the flickering of the Point Linden Market light trying to keep up with its fluorescents while the mile-tall electric tower slowly burns, firm, in the background
I bought the book after watching another video on it and it's amazing... It's pretty much a story board for a movie.. which I hope is done!
hmmm just crap, no meaning in anything that i saw, no tale, no arc, crap
What is this?
I want to see something like this in Love, Death, and Robots.
Imagine what pictures of our world would have looked to someone 50-60 years ago...
